TERMS OF BUSINESS
ItaliaRooms acts only as booking agent and has no control over, nor responsibility for suppliers and other travel accommodations listed on this site. All bookings are accepted and all tickets, passes and vouchers are issued on the express condition that ItaliaRooms is not responsible nor liable for any loss (consequential or otherwise), damage (including, but not limited to, loss of, or damage to passengers' clothes, baggage, property, whatsoever), death, injury, delay, inconvenience or irregularity caused by, or arising from, or in connection with, any defect in any vehicle or other land or sea conveyance used, rented, or traveled in; or through the negligence, willful misconduct, strikes, or other acts, defaults, or omissions of any hotel, carrier, car rental or other provider of goods and services.
Every booking accepted is subject to the conditions, tariffs and regulations imposed by the rail, shipping, bus, car rental, car insurance, hotel, tour or other companies, firms, or persons concerned. Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary travel documents and visas.
PRICES & AVAILABILITY
The price and availability of the travel services will be as quoted on the website from time to time, except in cases of obvious error. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect bookings already accepted and confirmed. Please note that some bookings are accepted Upon Request (RQ) or Pending upon acceptance from the Hotel after a reservation is made. As such, the booking is not considered accepted until final confirmation and issuance of voucher from the hotel, or within 3 business days from the original time of final payment and receipt. Despite ItaliaRooms.com’s best efforts, some of the travel services listed on the website may be incorrectly priced.
ItaliaRooms.com expressly reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on its website and/or pending reservations made under an incorrect price. In such an event, if available, it will offer you the opportunity to keep your pending reservation at the correct price or it will change your reservation without penalty.
ItaliaRooms.com is under no obligation to provide travel services to you at an incorrect or lower price, even after you have been sent confirmation of your booking.
SUPPLIER RULES & RESTRICTIONS
When making a booking, please read these terms and conditions carefully. Each supplier and hotel booking is accompanied by specific cancellation terms and conditions. In some cases, the booking will be NON-Refundable. In other cases, the booking may be cancelled or changed up to a certain date, after which it may carry a penalty or become non-refundable. You are responsible for understanding the cancelation dates and terms of your reservation before agreeing, making a booking and submitting payment. If you do not understand or are unsure, please contact a customer service agent for details before making a booking and payment. Should you proceed, you agree to abide by the terms or conditions of purchase imposed by any supplier with whom you elect to deal, including, but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with the supplier's rules and restrictions regarding availability and use of fares, products, or services. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if full payment is not received in a timely fashion. You understand that any violation of any supplier's conditions of purchase may result in cancellation of your reservation(s) or purchase, in your being denied access to any flights, hotels, or automobiles, in your forfeiting any monies paid for such reservation(s) or purchase, and in ItaliaRooms.com debiting your account for any costs ItaliaRooms.com incurs as a result of such violation. You shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of the use of this website.
You acknowledge that ItaliaRooms.com pre-negotiates certain room rates with hotel suppliers, sometimes at significant discount to the normal published rate to facilitate the booking of reservations on your behalf. The room rate displayed on the Website is a combination of the pre- negotiated room rate for rooms reserved on your behalf by ItaliaRooms.com and the facilitation fee retained by ItaliaRooms.com to compensate us for our services. You authorize ItaliaRooms.com to book reservations for the total reservation price, which includes the room rate displayed on the Website, plus tax recovery charges, service fees, and other taxes. You agree that your credit card will be charged by ItaliaRooms.com for the total reservation price. Upon submitting your reservation request you authorize ItaliaRooms.com to facilitate hotel reservations on your behalf, including making payment arrangements with hotel suppliers.
Sales, use and/or local hotel occupancy taxes are imposed on the amounts that we charge for our services (facilitation fee and/or service fee) in certain jurisdictions. For hotel stays in Italy, some local city and occupancy taxes are collected directly by the hotel for the room. The actual tax amounts on our services may vary depending on the rates in effect at the time of your hotel stay.
When your Hotel booking has been confirmed, your confirmation, receipt and possible voucher will be emailed to you. You must present this email confirmation/voucher to the hotel at check-in during the beginning of your stay.
CHANGING OR CANCELLING A BOOKING
It may be possible to change your hotel reservation date or time, or receive a refund if you are not able to travel. To request a change or cancel booking and obtain a refund, all inquiries should be made by calling our customer service number (877) 375-7245 or emailing support@ItaliaRooms.com
Only Hotel bookings purchased from ItaliaRooms, can be exchanged or refunded. If you wish to change the date or amend the booking in any way, a fee may be charged by the supplier.
You can change your guest name, bed type, smoking preference, special requests, accessibility options, room type, number of guests and travel dates at no charge to you by ItaliaRooms.com, subject to availability. However, please note that hotel suppliers may impose other change and/or cancellation fees. Charges vary by reservation, so please review your original booking terms and confirmation email for details.
You agree to pay any supplier’s required cancellation or change fees that you incur. In limited cases, some hotels do not permit changes to or cancellations of reservations after they are made, or have a specific time limit as indicated in the rules and restrictions for the original hotel reservation. Please note that generally, cancellations must be made anywhere from 1 to 7 days before scheduled arrival. No-shows are non-refundable. You agree to abide by the terms and conditions imposed with respect to your prepaid hotel reservations.
In the unlikely event that a hotel is unable to honour your booking, ItaliaRooms.com will not be liable for any cost incurred due to relocation.
